The placement of insularis within this group is only depending on examination of images from the holotype. The holotype includes a body length of two.4 mm and fore wing length of two.7 mm (Gavin Broad, personal communication), also as the tegula as well as the humeral complex are pale. Description. Female. Body color: physique largely dark except for some sternites which may perhaps be pale. Antenna color: scape, pedicel, and flagellum dark. Coxae color (pro, meso-, metacoxa): dark, dark, dark. Femora colour (pro-, meso-, metafemur): anteriorly dark/posteriorly pale, dark, dark. Tibiae colour (pro-, meso-, metatibia): pale, anteriorly pale/posteriorly dark, anteriorly pale/posteriorly dark. Tegula and humeral complex colour: tegula pale, humeral complex half pale/half dark. Pterostigma colour: largely pale and/or transparent, with thin dark borders. Fore wing veins color: partially pigmented (a number of veins may possibly be dark but most are pale). Antenna length/body length: antenna about so long as physique (head to apex of metasoma); if slightly shorter, a minimum of extending beyond anterior 0.7 metasoma length.
