World of Tanks is the game to play if you are a fan of tanks. Many unique types of tanks operate from the get go, and you advance farther into the tree to unlock tier tanks and updates. Even though we already have a World of Tanks match on the PC, the brand new World of Tanks Blitz that was once only available on iOS and Android is currently also working on the PC. So I went and investigated to see if Blitz is worth it as a replacement for the normal World of Tanks that has been out for years.

Though it's an extremely fun game to play, sticking around for the long term never happened. I usually picked it up when I was bored, and never played more a few weeks straight it. Its just one of these games that you play when you just need to hop into a fast match and make something explode. Regardless of this, the genre itself is common. I even tried World of Tanks Blitz as it first came out and found it enjoyable; but simple, it was the same.

Nothing much has changed for this PC version. Its the specific same simple game as it was back then. Just like in the PC version of World of Tanks, you're given a simple Tier 1 tank. By playing you'll unlock credits gold and expertise. Credits are the currency you earn while playing the game that's used to purchase vehicles and updates where gold is the currency that's used to unlock everything a little quicker than the rest. The sport never has been, and isn't cover to triumph: you can't purchase your way straight. Every update or tank includes a minimum required quantity of expertise, and you still will need to fulfill this sum to use them. So while you can't skip these requirements with a cash store buy, you may use your wallet to obtain premium, which provides you experience.

Target locked.

Now that we have this from the way, let us talk about the game itself. What are the greatest differences between the standard game and this mobile phone port (ported now to PC)? The very first thing that you'll shortly find out is that the game, generally speaking, is much more simple. The maps are somewhat smaller and the game is more straightforward (though World of Tanks has never been very difficult). The game seems a little more in this regard. Games are a whole lot faster than your average game on the PC. Considering that the maps feel so small, you'll come across an enemy of driving to a struggle after only a few seconds, and thus it is somewhat more easy to enter the action than on the PC. My main problem in the standard version is that the maps feel a bit too large. You can be easily hidden or surprise by people from all sides when you're driving into the center of the battlefield. I know that its my fault because I can't correct right to the speed of this game, but to me it just seems dull to wait around a corner, hoping for a poor soul to cross by, or waiting for your entire team so you gradually advance. No, I need to go into action and burst off with all the rockets.

And this is what works in the Blitz variant. Its not as if you're play hide and seek, although you need to play strategically to stay alive as long as you can across a map with the enemy. One of the most significant things is that there is not any artillery so that you can't randomly burst like you are in the game that is standard. Destroying a tank that is nowhere near you and unable to see you seems somewhat unbalanced, and lots of individuals seem to agree with this, although I never liked the artillery.

Considering that the game was created for mobile devices originally, the graphics are not on par of that in the desktop version of World of Tanks. Honestly people can scare off. It does not arrive as close at all to the original, and it truly feels as if you are playing a game. It doesn't matter that much and I believe it also looks a lot cleaner. No unneeded leaves that can block your opinion or things like that, in general it seems far more balanced and fair.

There's very little in the means of cover.

Conclusion: Not a PC Contender (3/5)

Regardless of the faster games, the simpler mechanics, and also the lack of artillery, I would still pick the normal World of Tanks version when playing on PC. It offers you longer, and it is just a package generally. Planet of Tanks Blitz remains a fun sport, but I frankly do not know why they made this variant available for the PC. Its simply the game with features that are less, and not as far in articles releases as the actual PC game is. Unfortunately you can't play on the exact same account on both your PC and the mobile versions of Blitz either, so I really do not see the point of picking Blitz within the World of Tanks. If you absolutely hate the artillery, and don't mind the graphics that is more simplistic, Blitz is well worth the try. Besides that, I only ask myself, why bother?
