Is it possible for my history class to get a private game with around 30 or so slots as we will be learning about the Middle Ages and renaissance, would I have to pay for something like this?

I'm not sure that's going to happen, but you can each create your own solo game. :S

And there are more than 30 spaces now in  Lao Tseu

Actually it's planned to be done, but probably not now. Maybe in 2017.

How do I create a solo game I don't see a button for it

You have the name of the games on the left. On the right the info of the game selected, and above you have Create solo game.

When you are not premium, Solo game is a one shot demonstration game of 20 years.
When you are premium, you can play several solo games, one after the another, no time limit.
But there are 100 slots of solo games in total (if I well remember).

I went to the lobby but I do not see the create solo game button, Does it count as a game slot.
