Hello, I recently married one of my daughters to a son of House Barcelone and our houses (Normande and Barcelone) are not allies.

J'ai le même problème, aucun de mes mariages n'est reconnu comme alliance...

The same with me. But some of by marriages are recognised as alliances and others not.

I have not agreed enough marriages to be sure but I guess this is linked to the position of the newlyweds. Alliance may be created if they are very close to the family chief only.

That cant be true. I am Normandie and i am allied with Galize. Yet, i cannot be allied with Barcelone (closer than Galize).
I have marriages with both houses.

Sorry, my english is quite poor... By "close", I meant close in the family (child or brother, not grand child or aunt...), not close on the map

I married all my daughters and sons and with alot of other countries and yet Barcelone is not ally (married a daughter)
