Some time ago, I made a vasalization war against two cities. Once I won, I had them as my vassals. With this, I could claim the title of Viscount. Now I want to conquer them, declaring a war of conquest, but I dnon't seem able to do this. I don't understand why.

The game considers that lieges and vassals are your allies. You don't attack your allies :).
You can betray them if you are the vassal (not the liege), breaking the vassalage.

You need to break the vassalage to declare them war.

You can send a treaty to break the vassalage. Of course, it works if they accept it.

Another possibility if your vassal is currently an IA. You can tranfer the vassalage to another player, then attack your former vassal.
However, if the vassal is a player, this is strictly forbidden to do so.

Lets's say I ask another ally to attack my vassal. Will it be possible for the ally to call me for help in his war with my vassal? And in this case, would I be allowed to attack him?

Your ally can attack your vassal. He can invite you in his war. But as long you are the liege of this vassal, you can't joint the war.

You can't join a war if one of the enemies is ally to you.
