The examiner may choose to ask you concerns about leadership in politics. The concerns asked will depend on how long you take to discuss your answers. You are not expected to give technical or specialist answers but you will be anticipated to give your opinion.
For instance you could be asked to:
1. Describe a world leader. In this case you could describe anything you know about a leader and give your personal opinion on the leadership qualities they have demonstrated. 2. Describe the person's key achievements over the last ten or so years. You could choose one key achievement that created change or progress. If you are not sure of their important achievements, you could describe what you believe they could have carried out to make things much better for individuals. 3. Describe what the individual may attain or do in the next 10 years. This is asking you to speculate, guess or envision so you can pretty much say what you truly think or feel. Again, if you are not as well sure of the individual, you could indicate that if you were that same person, you would want to ...(give instance).
The important is to practice providing answers to a range of concerns on different subjects and keep in mind to also choose topics that you know very small about. This will help you create responses and give opinions on a wider variety of subjects that you may not usually consider. I don't have a lot of an idea about the topic but if I were to give an opinion, I would say ... I don't know as well a lot about the individual you have mentioned, but if I was that person, I would ....
Remember, practice tends to make perfect and like the reading, listening and writing IELTS tests, you have to practice these specific abilities over and over once more. For speaking, you must practice speaking out loud as if you were in a conversation or dialogue with someone else. Good luck!
