What's an achromatic lens?

An achromatic lens or Achromat is a lens that is created with the goal of limiting the consequences of lens(chromatic and spherical) aberration. Achromatic lenses have been adjusted to attract two wavelengths to focus in the exact same plane.

What is a chromatic aberration?

Chromatic aberration, too Called chromatic distortion and spherochromatism, is an effect generated from dispersion as a result of failure of a lens to focus all colors to the identical convergence point.
