In game help is written:

Transmission
"By treaty, a Suzerain may give one of his titles to a vassal. Just select the title from the drop-down list. Nevertheless, the vassal must have de jure at least one of the provinces claimed by the title, not directly or through its vassals, to keep it. Otherwise, the title will be lost and will become an unrecorded title. It is therefore preferable to check the vassalizations linked to a title before transmitting it, the latter being transmitted with the title."

and

Creating

"A character with a prestigious title can create prestigious titles that are lower in the hierarchy. Thus, a Duke may create titles of Count or Viscount.

This creation is done either for the account of the person in question, or for the account of one of his vassals.

To create a title, it is necessary that the character (or its vassal in the case of a title created for a vassal) owns, directly or indirectly (through a chain of vassalage) a number of territories de jure . This number must be exactly:

  • 3 for a Viscount
  • 5 for a County
  • 7 for a Duchy

This creation is done by treaty. You must select the category of creation of prestigious title. There, a father title is selected, it is the one who has the claims on the land that will be used to create the title.

Thus, to create a viscount, one must at least be a count, but a duke or a king can also do so. Once their father title is chosen, they select the titles that the recipient of the title possesses (de jure or suzeraineté) and which are among the claims of the title father. A seigneury possessed de facto does not allow the creation of a title.

Once the title is created, it will automatically appear in the list of prestigious titles and can be taken (not activated at the moment).

It should be noted that a seigneurial title can be used for several higher titles, interweaving the claims even more closely."

My question is:

what are the consequences of both actions and what is the easiest and without any risk for the kingdom?

because I want to create, or transfer a title of Duke for all players that are active in my Kingdom of Poland.

thanks

hello there

Transfer is for a title you own yourself so you won't have it anymore afterward. Unless you stacked all the duke titles from poland, this feature is kinda limited in your situation i suppose.

The creation of a new title will add a new revendication in every claimed cities and give the new title to the lord when he accepts your treaty.

Let's say you create a duke title of Varsovia to your friend for example, then the city 'Varsovia' will be claimed as such :

King of Poland

Duke of Masovia

Duke of Varsovia

Count of Varsovia

Viscount of Varsovia

This is a good way to promote all your active players to duke and unlock their economy to 6. Not very realistic historically speaking thought.

As long as the new duke stay your vassal it will not affect your kingdom, so no worries here. But it will affect the duchy of Masovia instead (after 50day out of vassalisation the revendications will be lost), so after the creation of the title it is recommended to organize back the vassalisation links appropriately (city->viscounty->county->right duchy) if loosing/changing the originals revendications is a matter to you.
