Is it allowed for a ref to play on the world that he is refereeing on?

No.

But they are experiencing a new way currently. A ref "plays" on a game he manages, he just manages one lordship and have no IG contact with other players. It's simply to have a better understanding of the state of the world and so player tickets.

It's not allowed? Are you sure?

Yeah, it's not allowed, it's to avoid conflict interests. If a ref plays on a server, another ref will manage this server.
