I am offering the cities of Forfar, Perth and Aberdeen to a new player, with the sole condition that they must be able to write and understand English. 

I am offering the city of Bearsden for one new player. Must speak English. 

Are you still looking for a new vassal or is this thread obsolete?

You're interrested because it's Aberdeen or are you ok for an other country ? Jaime isn't anymore in Niet... anto_capone is the player actualy controling Aberdeen if you want absolutly this seignory you can try to contact him with a private message...

And if you want to come in France you're welcome ^^ (others countries too I think ^^)

I mostly answered this post because he was asking for English speaking player. I only speak English so i would have to translate anything else. Aberdeen caught my eye because my father's ancestors came from the Aberdeen area. I would try to play if needed but i have never played before so i figured English would be the easiest to try my first time.

Yes, I think You can probably try to join the game "Rawls", who's a lot english speacking and who's not a really old game

so I was thinking to wait for the next English or non-specific speaking game. I do have a question about whether the ability exists in the game to choose your faction as the game starts. i have seen where it says that this is given by random.

Yes, this is actualy random, except if you join a game with the link of a new familly created for you

Rawls is still very active so you can start to play here and join a second game when an other will open

Rawls is full though, and for my first time i feel i should play so i can speak/write in English. But i am sure i will start when a new game starts. Also you mentioned that someone already took over the Aberdeen town.
